Growing up in the small town of Hornepayne, Ontario, I often had my head in the clouds and sawdust (and glitter) in my hair. I would spend hours in my dad's workshop making bird houses and building things, and even more time taking my mom's
fine linens and turning them into pillowcases (sorry Mom!)
Even today, you'll often find me chasing rainbows and adding a little whimsy wherever I go.
I graduated from Sault College's Digital Art and Photography program in 2012 and fell in love with still life and product photography. Several years later and a whole lot of trial and error, Blushing Bird Studio was born - a small business that specializes in laser cut and hand made, bespoke products for both small businesses and special events. I ship our products throughout the United States and Canada, and occasionally to Australia and the United Kingdom.
